We continue to have in the Archdiocese of Omaha a dispensation from the “Sunday Obligation” due to the Covid-19 situation.  That being said,  I would like to encourage all our faithful to try and take advantage of attending Mass during the week if you are uncomfortable attending on the weekend.  We will continue to livestream Mass on Facebook Live (Monday thru Thursday at 8:10 AM) as well as a Saturday Vigil Mass and Sunday Morning Mass.  Please refer to our weekly bulletin cover to see which Masses will be live streamed on the weekends.

We are not requiring the wearing of a mask at Mass but it is strongly encouraged and advised.  Anyone who is serving in a ministry such as usher, EMHC, Lector or Server is required to wear a mask. A Lector can remove their mask at the Ambo when they are proclaiming the Scripture reading.  If you are an EMHC, we ask that you remember to use the available hand sanitizer after you have received Holy Communion in the Sanctuary and have put your mask back on.

Lastly, as the number of cases in our area continues to increase, we want to keep everyone safe and healthy.  With that in mind we would like to again encourage the following individuals to refrain from our larger weekend Mass celebrations or any of our Masses if you are sick (e thru h):

a. Elderly;
b. People with underlying medical conditions;
c. Family members who live with elderly people or those who are at risk;
d. People who have access to those at risk in nursing institutions;
e. People who have upper respiratory or flu like symptoms;
f. People who live with someone with upper respiratory or flu like symptoms;
g. People with COVID-19 or live with someone with COVID-19;
h. People who have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
