Stewardship
“All tithes of the land, whether in grain from the field or in fruit from the trees, belong to the Lord, as sacred to Him.” Leviticus 27:30
St. Rose of Lima parish is dependent upon the generosity and willingness of parishioners and friends to give their “first fruits,” their time, talent and treasure, for the missions and ministries of the parishes and the Church in a universal sense.
Of course, the basis of good parish stewardship always begins with regular Sunday giving and utilizing the parish giving envelopes. However, there are ample ways and opportunities in our parish and for our school, for parishioners to support and assist in parish work. These pages explore a few of these rewarding opportunities. For more information on estate planning and memorial giving, contact Fr. James Keiter at 402-357-3506 or Mrs. Jennifer Fiscus at St. Rose School at 402-388-4393.
